Overview
These terms govern your use of Inkstone, a macOS Markdown editor and writing workspace. By installing or using Inkstone, you agree to these terms.
Use of the App
You may use Inkstone to create, edit, preview, organize, and export your own documents and related project files. You are responsible for the content you create and for complying with applicable laws and third-party rights.
Purchases and Subscriptions
Inkstone may be offered through direct licenses and through Mac App Store subscriptions. Direct licenses and App Store subscriptions are separate purchase channels and are not automatically shared between them.
Mac App Store purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, trial eligibility, offer codes, and payment information are handled by Apple under Apple's terms. Direct license-code support is handled by Inkstone.
Local Files and Backups
Inkstone works with local files and folders you choose. You are responsible for keeping appropriate backups of your documents and for reviewing exported files before sharing or publishing them.
No Warranty
Inkstone is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We aim to make the app reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every workflow.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inkstone will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising from your use of the app.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
